Ingredients

Flour                                                             11/2cups
Sugar                                                                   1cup
Astra                                                                     75g
Pitted,chopped dates                                       1/4cups
Warm Milk                                                          1cup
Baking powder                                                  1/2tsp
Chopped Almonds/walnuts/Hazelnuts              3/4cups

Method

1.Dip dates in warm milk for 10 min and mix
2.Beat Astra and sugar in a separate bowl,add vanilla and
   combine the date mixture with a wooden spoon
3.Mix flour and baking powder well and add it in to the
   date mixture gradually while stirring
4.stir in the nut mixture and layer on a prepared baking dish
5.Bake for 30-40 min in a pre-heated oven at 180'c until
   golden drown
6.Cool,cut in to squares and serve

Ingredients

Marie biscuit                                         300g
Warm milk                                          2 cups
Sweetened condensed milk           1/2cuup
Astra                                                      200g
Icing sugar                                             100g
Cocoa powder                                         50g
Cooking chocolate                                  20g
Instant coffee                                      1/4tsp
Roasted cashews                                   1cup
Separated eggs                                            3

Method

1.Heat cooking chocolate in a hot water bath until liquid then cool
2.In a bowl,mix astra and icing sugar and beat until creamy.add
    one egg yellow at a time and beat for 3 minutes
3.Add intant coffee,cocoa powder and cooking chocolate to the
     bowl and mix well
4.Beat the egg whites searately and it to the mixture
5.Mix the warm milk and condensed milk in a bowl and keep it
    separately
6.In a pudding bowl a flat bottom,layer marie biscuits dipped
    in the milk mixture followed by a 1/4 inch thick layer of the
   icing mixture and cashew and repeat the same sequence
7.Garnish with cashews,cool in refrigerator before serving
